Llanover, Llanarth and Coldbrook are three privately owned rural estates in Monmouthshire, South Wales, which have numerous residential properties available to let on long leases. Each estate lies in the Usk Valley. The River Usk is an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and Special Area of Conservation. All of the properties are set in the shadow of the Black Mountains on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The estates lie within 5 miles of the historic market town of ABERGAVENNY (pop. 10,000). The town has a busy livestock, fruit, vegetable and retail market twice a week. Abergavenny Food Festival is held annually, Craft fairs and farmers markets are held monthly. The locality is well served by some excellent gastro pubs, hotels and restaurants. These include the Bell at Skenfrith, The Foxhunter Inn, The Angel Hotel, The Walnut Tree and the recently opened Hardwick Inn.
